## New Features - New Compliance Profiles: You can use the CIS Azure Foundations benchmark v1.1.0 profile and the CIS CentOS 6 benchmark v2.0.2 profiles through the Compliance dashboard. - DIY Password Administration: Asking your admin to change your password can be a drag...so we fixed it! You can change your own password by selecting your name or avatar in the upper right corner of any Chef Automate page and selecting "Your Profile" from the dropdown menu. Woohoo! Your admin can still reset your password for you in case you forget it. ## Improvements - 8x faster data-collector endpoint: We made a big improvement and now the end point ingests 8x as many messages per second. You're welcome! - Extended backup sessions: Backup operations will timeout after 120 minutes, instead of 10 minutes. You can also configure this when calling `chef-automate backup create` - Streamlined user updates: When an admin successfully updates a user's full name, the edit mode closes and you're automatically taken back to the user's display. - We touched up the Chef Runs node list paginator--it's at the bottom of the page--for better usability/accessibility. - We tweaked the user interface updates. ## Bug Fixes - Corrected the `release` metadata on some Compliance profiles so the profiles are considered compatible with a target host. - Fixed a number of controls in the CIS Centos 7 v2.2.0 compliance profile to be more accurate to the CIS benchmark. - Fixed an issue in the CIS RHEL6 compliance profiles where some controls were assigned 0.0 impact without reason. - Compliance reporting charts only scale along x-axis now to avoid oversizing. - Long control list descriptions won't overflow from the table. - Resolved bug that reset manager value to 'automate' on scanner node updates. - Backup time-outs won't prevent the system from performing routine tasks such as configuring and updating the subsystems, running backups, etc.
