## Upgrade Journey

Chef lets you choose your **upgrade journey** based on your current version of Chef Automate. You can do all the version upgrades manually.

## New Features

- On-premise deployment of Automate HA with Chef Managed database can be done on infrastructure provisioned on the Google Cloud Platform.
- You can configure GCS backup and configuration support from the bastion host in Automate HA. We extend the capability to verification and config generator workflow during pre and post deployment of Automate HA. ## Compliance Profile Updates

- Compliance profiles are updated to version 1.0.0/20230905035531, which includes the new and improved profiles for:
> CIS Oracle Solaris 11.4 v1.0.0  
> CIS Windows Server 2019 Audits v2.0.0
